Purspective has successfully piloted the new workshop ‘Strategic Supplier Relationship Management’ aimed to optimize a specific relationship with a key supplier. Helping companies to become customer of choice. Increased understanding and transparency, breakthrough ideas on operational excellence, governance and innovation, and in the process solving recurring operational issues are reported benefits.

Cross-functional teams of both the buying and supplying organization meet each other in this workshop after a thorough preparation in which key team members of both sides are interviewed.

Based on these inputs, the teams proceed to address strategic alignment and identify key improvement opportunities. Using the deep dive process, based on fast prototyping methodology from the Californian development company IDEO, self-selected teams ‘build their first prototype’ solution. The two-day workshop is guided by an experienced facilitator who motivates, supports and challenges both teams to bring the relationship to the next level.

With this successful pilot, both companies have embraced this approach and will start rolling this out across their key key relationships to create “Pairs of Aces”.

Quote: “Purspective has done a great job in preparing this workshop, challenging current assumptions and perceptions and designing the process for this workshop. Many tough topics were addressed in a constructive manner.”.
