Heineken Egypt ‘Towards Strategic Purchasing‘ successfully started
Last week, Purspective trainer Jan Valkhof traveled to the land of pyramids and delivered the first classroom module for the Heineken purchasing staff of Egypt and surrounding countries. First module focused on purchasing process, important tools and preparation of individual sourcing projects.
Albeer Shenouda, purchasing manager in Cairo commented that phase 1 of the ‘Towards Strategic Purchasing’ program was completed successfully: “Yesterday, the whole team came back to office full of energy, enthusiasm and willingness to implement their new learnings into their Sourcing Plans! They feel proud of being members of the Purchasing Department, after Jan has proven to them, how they could really influence the company's bottom line profit! They also feel also happy that Al Ahram Beverages Company (ABC)* Management has invested in them to promote and develop their skills and knowledge!”
In July, Jan will be going to Egypt again accompanied by a second trainer (for the negotiation part) to deliver the second phase of the program.
