After a year of challenges that focused on cost reduction, survival and risk avoidance, the economy is starting to revive slowly.

In 2010 companies will face new challenges, including changes in strategy, organizational design, professionalizing their organizations and improving the effectivity of their employees.

Where cost savings were the top priority and investments were far and few between, in 2010 it will be time to (re-)invest in a sustainable business, focusing on the well know three P’s: People, Planet, Profit. And the game has changed with the resilience of sourcing strategies being challenged and supplier relationships more dynamic and challenging than ever. In other words, it is time to look at the skills & competencies that are required to play this game and invest in organizational development.
Purspective has done much work in this area in 2009 as can be seen from this article.
