Purspective training for Rwandan Government
Tuesday, 12 August 2008
Since a few months Purspective is delivering several training courses for Rwandan government purchasers. The aim of this project, led by the Maastricht School of Management (MSM), is to professionalize public procurement in this fast-growing African country.
Purspective has been asked to bring its international purchasing expertise and execute several purchasing modules. This has led to a group of 35 public purchasing managers to be trained in purchasing processes, cost, negotiation and contract management.
During the first training course in Kigali, delivered by Koen Jansen, participants spent the week discussing their purchasing objectives, strategies and improvement opportunities, which set the basis for the upcoming courses.
