Research Projects

Purspective has a proven track record of purchasing and supply chain knowledge. Our objective is to keep on building our knowledge base to support our clients in the ever changing purchasing environment.

The research projects Purspective initiates, give us the latest insights in market developments and support our program development activities.

As our main focus is on training development and execution, we collaborate with various international and renowned research institutions and professional communities. For more information see Networks.

Purchasing Excellence is Purspective's main research program. This program combines field results with a sound theoretical background. It has already led to several publications in which benchmark results, best practices, practical tools and lessons learned are described and explained.

In collaboration with NEVI, Purspective started this program in 2002, with the final project “Purchasing Excellence 2” being due in 2008.

Important processes like ‘Strategic Cost Management’ and ‘Supplier Relationship Management’ have been scrutinized in order to provide purchasers with more grip to manage these processes.
