Program overview:

Supply Chain Management aims at synchronized integration and management of the entire supply chain, transforming it into a single, integrated competitive system with sustainable competitive advantage over competing supply chains.

The key issue in this respect is velocity and reduction of cycle or lead times in goods flows and information flows. This can be achieved by involving suppliers earlier in order fulfillment decision processes, increasing cross-organizational communications and increasing feedback loops and responsiveness.
